Chill Out | organic loose leaf herbal tea blend | nervous system

$16.99

Do you ever feel physically tense, overstimulated, or stuck in a constant state of “go”? Does your mind race when you try to slow down, making it difficult to stay present or fully relax?

This calming herbal tea blend was created for those moments to gently support the nervous system and help restore balance during times of stress and overwhelm. This beautifully balanced combination of soothing and uplifting herbs works to soften tension in both body and mind while encouraging a deeper sense of emotional ease.

Rather than forcing calm or dulling the senses, these herbs work in harmony with your body’s natural rhythms. Over time, they nourish and strengthen the nervous system, helping you shift away from constant stimulation and into a steadier, more grounded state. Each cup offers a moment to pause, breathe, and return to yourself.

Taste Profile: Gentle yet complex with soft floral notes from the lavender and rose balanced by the bright, uplifting flavor of lemon balm.

Brewing Instructions: Add 2 teaspoons of loose herbs per 8 ounces of water to a reusable tea bag, steeper or diffuser and steep at 200°F for 7-10 minutes, making sure it is covered. My favorite way to prepare is adding the herbs to a carafe (about 4 servings worth), boil water and pour over. Let it steep and cool to about room temperature and strain before placing in the fridge and having cups ready to go!

When to Enjoy:

  • When you feel mentally overstimulated or constantly “on”

  • Struggling to slow racing thoughts at the end of the day

  • During times of nervous tension, anxiety, or irritability

  • You want calm without feeling sedated or sluggish

  • Evening wind-down rituals, journaling, meditation, or quiet reflection

You can enjoy up to 2 cups daily, especially during periods of heightened stress, emotional overwhelm, or as part of an evening wind-down ritual.

HAND-CRAFTED | CAFFEINE-FREE

Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) – traditionally used to quiet racing thoughts, ease anxiety, and support nervous system regulation. It is particularly helpful during moments of agitation, irritability, and overstimulation when it feels difficult to relax or fully enjoy life. Passionflower gently relaxes the body while calming excessive mental chatter and hyperactivity.

In a small placebo-controlled clinical trial involving participants with generalized anxiety disorder, passionflower was found to be as effective as a sedative benzodiazepine in reducing symptoms, while causing fewer issues with job performance.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) – a mood-lifting herb that simultaneously calms the nervous system while bringing a sense of lightness and emotional balance. Traditionally used for anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, and nervous digestion, it helps restore equilibrium when stress begins to weigh on the mind and body. Lemon balm meets us where we are, gently easing tension while inviting joy and connection back into our experience.

Oatstraw (Avena sativa) –a deeply nourishing herb known for strengthening and restoring the nervous system over time. Rich in minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, and B vitamins, it helps rebuild emotional resilience and supports the body’s ability to relax and recover from prolonged stress. These nutrients also work together synergistically, supporting healthy nerve function and overall vitality.

Lavender (Lavandula x intermedia) – well known for its calming aroma and gentle ability to relax both body and mind. Its soothing qualities help release tension, settle anxious thoughts, and promote a sense of emotional clarity. Historically revered for its ability to calm the mind, lavender was even referred to in a 17th-century Persian medical text as the “broom of the brain” for its believed ability to sweep away mental impurities.

Red Rose Petals (Rosa centifolia) – offers heart-centered emotional support during times of overwhelm, grief, or stress. Long associated with comfort and compassion, rose helps reconnect us to our emotional center while softening tension held in the body. Their natural astringent properties also support cardiovascular tone, strengthening heart tissue while providing a calming aromatic experience.
